David Rubie, CEO at SmartShepherd, said: “SmartShepherd is genuinely excited to win this award which reflects well on the vibrant AgTech ecosystem in Australia. We would never have come this far without the support of HAX, SOSV and Meat and Livestock Australia or our enthusiastic first customers who we would like to thank the most.”

The annual AgFunder Innovation Awards recognise the innovators and entrepreneurs driving the agrifood technology sector along the entire value chain. Nominations are made by an independent nomination committee of global agrifood tech investors, with winners peer-selected based on votes placed by AgFunder’s 45,000-strong network.
