Melbourne, 22 March 2018 –Australian AgTech companies have triumphed at the annual global AgFunderInnovation Awards, announced at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in SanFrancisco. SmartShepherd, The Yield, and AgriDigital each won their respectivecategories in awards across Farm Tech and Supply Chain Tech.
SmartShepherd, the Armidale based startupproviding wearable livestock technology for sheep breeding data and analytics,was named the Most Innovative International Startup Pre-Series A in theFarm Tech category.
The Yield, the fast-growing Australiancompany using Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics and artificialintelligence (AI) to power its agriculture sensing and predictions technology,was recognised as Most Innovative International Startup Series A and Beyondin the Farm Tech category.
AgriDigital, the company applyingblockchain technology to its supply chain management and traceability software,won the Most Innovative International Startup Series A and Beyond in theSupply Chain Tech category.

The annual AgFunder Innovation Awards recognisethe innovators and entrepreneurs driving the agrifood technology sector alongthe entire value chain.
