News

We are very pleased to announce that we are finalists for TWO awards, the PMA A-NZ Tech Innovation Award 2021 and the Butler Market Gardens Environmental Award.

The  PMA A-NZ Tech Innovation Award 2021 recognises businesses that have implemented technology focused innovation in the Australian or New Zealand fresh produce sector. As one of five finalists, The Yield will take part in the PMA Tech Innovation 2021 Showcase, where we will present our Sensing+ microclimate sensing solution (MCSS).

This year’s Tech Innovation Showcase will take place at the Hort Connections trade show at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition centre at 12.50pm on Tuesday, 8 June 2021. We hope you can join us!

Ros Harvey, our Founder and Managing Director, is also nominated for the 2021 National Awards for Excellence in the category of the Butler Market Gardens Environmental Award.

The award recognises an individual or business who has:

• Demonstrated a commitment to implement sustainable farming practices on-farm or across the supply-chain.

• Shown leadership in promoting sustainable practices within the industry.

• Developed an innovative solution to meet an environmental challenge on-farm.

• Shown leadership in promoting environmental issues in the local and wider community.

The 2021 National Awards for Excellence will be presented during the Hort Connections Gala Dinner, held at The Great Hall at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 9 June. The Awards for Excellence acknowledge and recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals and companies to the horticulture industry.
