The Yield has won a major international award for innovation in agricultural technology.
The award was made by AgFunder, the US-based platform for financiers looking to invest in food and agriculture technology companies. Winners were chosen following input from AgFunder’s 25,000-strong global people network.
The Yield’s Managing Director, Ros Harvey said that the award recognises the ideas and efforts of staff and partners.
“This international recognition for what we are doing in agriculture shows that an Australian company is among world leaders in the critical effort to sustainably improve global food supplies” Ms Harvey said.
Gavin Smith, President of Robert Bosch with responsibility for Oceania Region, nominated The Yield for the award. He said ‘Passionate leadership, grass roots agriculture know-how, capability to execute, and a clear and obvious mission to better feed a growing global population makes the Yield a standout business. We are delighted that this has been recognised by the world’s AgTech community.’
