The Yield’s new Sales Director to drive business growth in ANZ

Sydney, 17 January 2022 - The Yield Technology Solutions Pty Ltd (“The Yield”) today announced Pete Sheridan as the company’s new Sales Director ANZ.

The newly created role will be responsible for driving business revenue, growth and customer relationships in Australia and New Zealand.

Sheridan is a commercially driven executive with a track record of delivering revenue growth. Most recently Pete led sales and commercial strategy for Agerris Pty Ltd, an Australian technology company that delivers robotics and intelligent systems to help vegetable growers improve their yield in a sustainable way.

He was also co-founder of Aztec, a data analytics business that was built over 20 years to have an annual revenue of USD$100 million. He led the sales and customer teams before taking on the role of Managing Director Australia. Aztec expanded across eight countries before being acquired by Information Resources International (IRI), when he then took on the multi-market role as Group Managing Director.

Having spent his senior school years attending St Gregory’s Agricultural College in Campbelltown, Pete went on to obtain a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Newcastle with a Major in Economics.

Ros Harvey, Founder and Managing Director of The Yield, was pleased to welcome Pete to the team, particularly due to his unique blend of technology and agricultural sales experience.

Pete is enthusiastic about using new technologies to deliver value for customers and is now looking forward to helping The Yield deliver great outcomes for key growers across the ANZ agricultural sector.
